Laureline Hamon

Lawyer

Laureline Hamon holds a DESS (Post-graduate Diploma) in Applied Taxation
(Paris XII University) and a diploma from the Higher Institute of
Interpretation and Translation. This double training, legal and linguistic,
gave her a definite taste for international work. She has been a member of
the Paris Bar since 1997.
After a few training sessions abroad and with leading firms (Osler Hoskin &
Harcourt in Toronto (Canada), Gide Loyrette Nouel, SCP Goldsmith et Associés
and Clifford Chance in Paris), she began her career with the firm Coopers &
Lybrand CLC Juridique et Fiscal. While there, she mainly handled questions
connected with corporate taxation, with a few incursions into the property
taxation affecting their senior managers.
She joined cabinet BH et Associés in 1998, taking a more generalist approach
to business law (in connection with employment law and company law), giving
her more global view of the matters to be handled, but without impairing the
dominant nature of her taxation activity.
She now confines herself mostly to tax matters, in connection with corporate
taxation and more particularly corporation tax and the professional tax, but
also deals with individuals¹ taxation in connection with income tax and the
wealth tax.
Her experience also involves her in areas relating both to taxation and to
employment law, for instance, in connection with employee profit-sharing or
contributions having to be paid by senior managers on their compensation.
She works in both French and English.
